Toward a search for therapeutic solutions based on traditional medicine: Professor Souleymane Mboup selected by the WHO.
In the search for response against Coronavirus, no solution is overlooked. The regional office of the World Health Organization for Africa has decided to support States within the research and development of therapies based on traditional medicine against Covid-19.
In Senegal, the WHO and the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention have identified a few stakeholders to carry out this project and Professor Souleymane Mboup is part of the targeted persons.
The founder and use his president of the Institute for Health Research, Epidemiological Surveillance and Training (IRESSEF) will use his expertise and experience to support this initiative to find a therapeutic solution based on medicinal plants.
Professor Souleymane Mboup is a recognized worldwide scientist for having discovered HIV 2. He is the founder and President of IRESSEF which contributes to the diagnostic test of COVID-19 in Senegal.
