Professor Souleymane Mboup once again received the recognition of his pairs.

It was at the ASLM annual conference – African Society for Laboratory Medicine. The Senegalese researcher was honored this Thursday, December 13 in Abuja, Nigeria. He received his award from Nigerian Minister of Health Isaac Adewole.
The ASLM 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes the efforts of the President of IRESSEF in all areas of research in general, and HIV in particular.

Professor Souleymane Mboup has devoted more than 30 years to research, and the results have had a significant impact on public health in Africa. His known and recognized leadership has earned him once again the ASLM 2018 Award.


The ASLM – African Society for Laboratory Medicine conference is a meeting that is held every two years. This year 2018 was on the theme of “preventing and controlling the next pandemic: the role of the laboratory.” The aim is to provide information in the field of laboratory medicine and its challenges in Africa. It also aims to educate private, public and philanthropic donors about investment opportunities in laboratory medicine.
